n e body know much bout smoging.
I'm rebuilding an gs-r motor with an ls crankshaft and ls rods. Should I pass smog eventhough the compression ratio is alittle higher and the stroke is alittle bigger? This motor is going to go in on my 99 integra.

Technically, you will be illegal and shouldn't pass. However, since the tech will have no clue whats inside the engine block, as long as you have all required smog equipment for the block, and its a legal engine to swap in, you should be able to pass with a good tune and a working catalytic.
By legal engine swap, the engine has to come from a same year or newer car to be legal. You will have to use all smog equipment from the car the engine came from, and it will be smogged as the year the engine itself came from. If you have a 00 or newer engine, then you'll need to be OBD2 to pass, since they'll connect their testing equipment to your ECU. If your 99 Integra is a GSR and you're reusing the original block, then they should never notice.
