Default Got rear ended and now running lights don't work, WHY!

I wasn't hit hard, my ww rs body servived again, but my gauges wont light up and all the lights on the outside wont work only the headlights. What do you think I should check. could it be a taillight just not working or the whole system shorted out. UGH! I don't know please help.

Sounds like one of the wires in the park light circuit is severed. I suggest taking the taillight out and inspecting the wiring.

damn that would suck I don't even have any rear end damaged at all just a scrape or two on my body kit and the metal screen on it is cut and bent but I don't see how anything could have been severed.

The fuse is blown and continues to do so even when a new one is put in. What should I be check for. Obviously theres a short somewhere and I don't know where to look.

so everytime you put a new fuse in there and turn the key the fuse blows right off the bat? are your sure the fuse is the right amperage? if so it's got to be a short somewhere i would think....

Thats what i'm sayin!!! But acutally the fuse doens't blow until I turn the lights on and yes it is the right amp. I looked for cuts in the wires(not very well) but I didn't seeing anything obvious. is there a tool that will help me pinpoint it?
