I'm replacing my headgasket,timing belt, etc on my B16 and i wanna be safe and see if there are any metal shavings in the bolt holes.

I was wondering what methods people use to get out the metal shavings that MIGHT be in the head bolt thread holes in the block.

I remember seeing someone on here using a tap or something to get the metal shavings out but im not sure if it was a tap or not.
