Default My prelude retrofit thread.

Hey honda-tech. I haven't been on here for ages. I've been on many other forums but kinda drifted away. But lets recap. I have done many retros for preludes as well as many other cars. Just wanna share some of my work.

Here is my latest:
Dual low beam. Rx330 on the inside, Sc430 on the outside. JDM fog w/ hids.

Prelude w/ audi a4 (clear lens ece cutoff). Jdm fogs w/ hids (had yellow fogs before)

Audi a6 (hella projectors)

Now something different. My dad's corolla w/ e46 bixenon projectors.

Civic w/ bosch bixenons.

I like the dual HID projector 4th Gen. setup. Too bad it wouldn't look that good on a 5th Gen.

That's the best retrofit I've seen yet! They seem to project a good area too.

The foglights look stock. I modified the base of the bulb and the bulb holder to accept the d2s bulb. Every i use is OEM. all 6 ballast/bulbs are oem.

Very nice! How much would a setup like that cost? Also I know its a little off topic but what rims are those on your 4th gen?

Yup those are accord EX wheels. Painted graphite matching the ITR. They were black before, but it started to dull so i got them repainted. Looks alot better.

The bumper lights are stock (92-93). I converted the inner ones to dual filiment so that they would stay on w/ the parking. I also disabled the corner lights so that at night, it appear that my car is an integ.

Depending on what you want i charge different prices. I spend alot of time on these. Prob 10 hours per projector. This set up that's on my car cost me over 1k (not including the foglights). If any one is interested in the inner low beams. i'm selling those. It's just to much for me right now. I use them on the mountains but even then its overkill. A local prelude owner wants to buy them and put yellow d2s (xenon) bulbs in them, but he has yet to come up w/ the cash.

Thanks for all the props. PM me if you're interested in a set.
