I want to go faster.
If our top speed is limited by our transmittions than does anyone know how or where to change or get parts to change the transmittion to get a higher top speed?
Also does anyone what the best D-series Transmittion is??

your top speed is limited by your speed limiter on your stock honda ecu, get it chipped and have it removed.
That sounds about right...Ive heard that passing the 140mph barrier is a great achievement, which normally has to do with a combo of good power, and good aerodynamics. My stock 95 si got stuck around 125-130...and my 90 si around 125 also..havent made a run with the b18b yet though.

Ive gotten it up to 125 in my 90 DX....quite frankly I was sitting at about 6400 so I was about to redline....but the mph was buried, I still felt I was accelerating....but I still havent hit my rev limiter yet
i am pretty sure i have done 135 in my 90 crx si. and thats back when all i had was intake. now my speedo is unhooked. so not sure on speed. but i have been about 6000 rpms in 5th. and i think that is around 130 for my car. and i felt like i could go a little faster [maybe]...

BTW. where do you get a chip for you car? i wanta rev a little higher, and i guess a little faster... also, i am not sure if OBD0 has exhaust reg.s but i want to take that out to... so it can suck in more air and what not... thanx!
If you can keep your motor well-tuned (oil changed, clean filter), keep your main driveline in perfect shape (bearings lubed, CVs lubed, etc.) and get a chip, you should be able to pull high 130's.
I recently ran a radar run here in my 90 CRX Si at 244 kph. I think that's around 140mph. My car is NA, with exhaust and intake mods, chip, lowered, light wheels, and long, flat, fresh paved roads.

using the HF tranny would give you more MPH with lower RPMS, but the gearing is kinda long. Not really good for accelerating with small HP rating, but if you have a turbo, probably good. I might try it once I finish my turbo since I have a spare HF tranny anyway.
