I'm definitely going. I used to go to them with my dad back in the day ("which was a wednesday if you didn't know") and haven't been the past couple years. I am interested in those coupons if you have extra. I can't wait to see the custom sport bike section.

 

Is there any good parking if you take a bike? Sounds pretty cool, have been to the LA Car show numerous times but never to a bike show.

Yes, they do have designated parking for bikes. But, I have heard stories of stolen bikes from the parking lot. Some suspect the parking attendants, but I'm sure local thieves know of this event far in advance. Regardless, the past three times I have gone I caged it - just in case I found a sweet deal that I couldn't pass up. And, seeing as how I currently don't have any street-legal bike, I'll be caging it again.

I never knew the MC-Show was on a Wednesday. I have a bunch of the coupons, and could probably get more.

I didn't make it last year... just wondering what your thoughts are on the show? From your past experiences has there been major unveilings, public product testing, good sales, etc. to make it worth the whole admission. Or am I going to be fighting crowds for stickers and posters? (The wife certainly thinks we have enough of those leftover from the GP's. )

Nothing earth-shattering. The first year I went mainly because they were showing "Faster." The next year I missed, but the year after that I went so I could meet Colin Edwards II (again).

The best part of the show was that you could sit on almost any bike there. I think Buell is offering their demo-bikes again for people to try. Unfortunately, you can't sit on some bikes like the Hypermotard or the M1...

You stopped by on Friday? Sorry! I was there from 5:30 to 8:00, but constantly meandering.

 

i was there on Sat with the Shortbus and the Herb was nowhere to be found.
