Default Intake manifold question.

Alright well I just bought a 00 gsr and it has some problems. The hose coming from the valve cover was on the MAP? sensor on the IM (I actually dont know what it is, I'm guessing). So I moved it to the intake where it belongs. I bought some 5/16" hose for the sensor on the IM but I can't find where to run it to? Sorry if its newbie question but I've searched alot and came up with nothing.

That is the purge canister solenoid. The diagram should help.

Ok... So I got to looking and I couldn't find it. I don't think its there. I took some pics to make sure. They were in the dark/raining so they aren't the best.

Shouldn't it be under/near the battery?

It should be over there, its probably missing in action. Also your wiring harness connection shouldnt be dangling there....it should be clipped in place. Makes me think its motor swap central.

No I don't think so. I have all the records but hey you never know. I think someone just took shitty care of this car. BTW I live in Chattanooga too.

Your strut bar is missing in action as well. Are there any car meets, etc around town? Well, something that is import related?
