Default Del Sol Shift Linkage/ Where to buy.

My del sol is in need of a swap. The rings are fried and i think it just ate up an alternator. I would be swapping an obd1 b18b1 into an obd1 del sol. I have all the mounts ect i need, i just need the shift linkage.

i would like to know the cheapest place to get it. I priced it out from honda ( for a del sol vtec) AND IT WAS ALMOST $300. I looked on the hasport website but they had nothing. Where can i get it the cheapest?

not exactly. the del sol linkage has this weird little bend in it. The dc linkage wont work. And i cant use my stock ones cause the little end parts that hook up to the tranny isnt the same for a b-series motor.

cause if its anything like the b18c swap you can only use the shift linkage out of a del sol vtec(b16) its the only shift linkage possible besides the adjustable.. trust me i went through 2000 civic si linkage, gsr linkage sohc del sol shift linkage.. nothing works..

and i dont know about around where your from but around here good luck finding a vtec del sol in a junk yard... i couldnt anywhere within like 100 miles..

I've done your exact swap. You can ONLY use Delsol vtec (b16 delsols) shift linkages.

Good luck with a junkyard search. You could try those aftermarket companies like Hasport etc. As for me, nothing fits better than stock--strait from the dealer.

-$200 to your wallet my friend.

passwordjdm.com has em for 200, but you have to call its not listed on the site.

i had a hell of a time finding it myself. Good luck finding it cheaper then that.

^^^^^ like SOLvtec said. I got both bars from the dealer, $99 + $69. It took a couple days to get them in though. All the misc. hardware can be canibalized off the old linkage.
