H22 SECONDARY BUTTERFLYS IN THE INTAKE!!!!!!!!!
HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF GAINING OR LOOSING HP/TRQ BY REMOVING THEM. I REMOVED THEM FROM MY INTAKE AND MY CAR HAS A HARD BOG OFF IDLE. I DONT THINK IT WOULD HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM OUT. I THINK ITS IN MY TPS BUT WASNT SURE IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THAT SITUATION. I TOOK THEM OUT BEFORE I GOT THE CAR RUNNING SO I DONT KNOW WHAT THE CAR RAN LIKE BEFORE.
well first stop posting in caps
i thought the secondary butterflys were for helping with torque on the low end.......people that race remove them because you gain a bit a of power just before they would open up at the cost of some low end.....but they never need the low end
depends on how hard your bog is

I dont think the butterfly removal is too blame. I would look more towards everything else you did to get them out. Any check engine lights? Any vaccuum leaks? Hows your idle?
