Default b18b wiring prob

ok recently i had a problem with my dpfi to mpfi swap. to start i was not getting any power to the ecu and i figured out that my fuses were blown so i replaced all fuses and sanded all my grounds and added new wires to them. still no power to the ecu. Im using a pr4 comp because the motor has been converted to obd0. so my next thought was to us my stock pm9 comp from the dpfi motor. I try it and just like that the fuel pump is priming and i have power at the ecu. Does anyone know how to tell if a ecu is no good if so please help thanks.

Well the ecu should blink once when you turn the key to show its on...if it dosen't then its either not getting power or dead... other signs of a dead ECU is a solid CEL...try a known good MPFI ECU and see if the car starts
