Got a question (tucking rear tires)
Hey im lowered about 2 inches and i have like 1/4" wheel gap in the rear, i was lookin at it and if i drop it anymore ide be rubbing the rear fender....how is it that you guys are able to slam your cars w/o rubbing the fenders? i already have like -3.5* camber in the rear but it still looks like its gonna hit...im running 205/45/16's...which is a common tire size, so i dont get how u are able to tuck the rear tires w/o rubbing...???
edit:
i think the wheels are a 40mm offset

1.put rear of car on jack stands
2.put jack under tire and raise
3.place baseball bat between fender and tire
4.roll back and forth
5.repeat step 4 untill entire fender lip is rolled and out of the way
6.repeat on other side.

1. What kind of car are you talking about? Ferrari F40 or a 1976 civic?
2. Post your suspension setup/wheel/tire setup for better advice.
3. If you take a bat to your fenders, heat it up before so that the paint doesn't crack. Been there, done that.

Well, I think that lil shawn here should move aside so we can take a close look with OUR OWN EYES since he doesn't want to tell us what kind of car he's talking about.

When the suspension is that low there is quite a bit of camber gain (top of the tire will swing inboard) as the suspension compresses. Even though it looks like it may hit the fender the camber gain as the suspension compresses may be enough that you don't rub. To test this remove your rear shock and spring then with the wheel mounted raise the suspension and check the clearance.
I'm running 205-45-16 with 40 offset rims and the tires clear without rubbing, they clear by ~5mm. You can also install a rear camber kit and add a bit of static negative camber to increase the amount of camber gain and amount of clearance.
