Default Suspension Setup

What is the best setup for 4th gens?
Im planning to buy one in a week and right now im considering either the:
Skunk2 Adjustable Springs & Tokico Adjustable Illumina Struts
or
Tein Super Street Damper.
Does anyone recommend a different setup? where it cost less and still be able to perform well.

best setup?

do you plan to spend $10,000? cause that might get you the best.

there are many choices out there and from what you listed, they are hardly in contention. they are good for maybe everyday driving / lowering / occansional actual racing.

but it seems like you aren't even considering "the best" for preludes

im sure you could have some carbon fiber/titanium tube welded setup custom build with dimonds for ball joints and pure gold for bushings with a computer controlling air ride hight with gyroscopes and whatnot conrtolling every aspect of your setups if you want the best...... cost may or may not be a factor for you

im currently running with tien flex and i love them when i road race. there are alot of damper kits; d2, tokico makes one, tiens, apexi n1. but to get the most out of your suspension you will need more than a damper set. things like sway bars, tower bars, sub braces, roll cage i heard helps alot.

Im currently running Stock suspension and they rock!
I will put on H&R sports($100) with Tokico HP Blues($240).

Best setup for $340 bucks.

Springs are > coil overs. Unless you get high end Coils.

REMEMBER: Honda's are no Ferrari so racing is kinda retarded, but if you a "driving enthusiast" like most of us, a nice comfortable ride with a lowered spec would be good. Saving money is also . I recommend upgrading Shocks and Springs. If you have money go with Higher end Coils. Teins are overated though, they are okay.

H&R springs are one of the Best. Made in Germany.
And Teins are made in China now so watch out.
Im a Fan of JDM but German quality is just as good.
