from my understanding I can use a fields vtec harness for their vtec controller for a apexi vafc to make it plug and play instead of chopping my stock harness is this true?

holy moly that is a lot to spend, splice it in, takes 45mins

 

I just bought the Fields harness, and I was told that it would work, I am going to try to install it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I got it from Diablo autosports, they told me it was the last one they had. they offer to attach the controller for you if you ship it to them, kind off cool but of course costs more...

Forgot to mention it is $159USD.

It's in and it seems to work, passed the smoke test at least. I can't check for the VTEC engagement, I am running on my spare, one of the AZENIS is flat.

I'm sitting here looking at mine (thanks Leo!) and kinda scratching my head on where everything goes.

what directions did you use?

 

Feilds does have a plug and play harness which I believe Leo
from jdmsperperf has a special on. Not sure how the install goes
but I would be more then happy to hear from anyone who has done it.

 

well,

I sat down and wired it up. Soldered EVERYTHING which is a good idea.

printing off the English manual and will see if the beast (or lack there of) comes to life.

 

ohh god, you people are too lazy/scared to wire up the vafc, that looks exacly the same way i did mine , but i didnt pay $250 to get it done . 1/2 hr if even that .
send em over my way , ill do em for $150
