Tien Basics or Ground control + Koni Yellow
I was always going to go GC + yellow because it is one of the best setups, but I talked to the guy at the shop (a buddy of mine) and he told me he hates the sleeved setup, and overtime it just starts loosening, moving, making noises, and just overall just not as great as the one piece coilover setup like the Tien Basicis
So im just wondering if its worth to upgrade to Teins (about 800) over the proven and tested GC + koni yellow.
Purpose, fun daily driving and occasional track days, nothing stiffer then 500 on the springs, about 400.
Thanks guys.

I have no idea what your friend is talking about. I've had mine on the car for about 2 years and they don't squeak at all. I've done many autocrosses and a few HPDE's with them as well.
Tein Basics should be left to people that don't want a good suspension. Plus they almost cost the same.
