Code 22 VTEC pressure valve help!!
I just swapped a motor into my EK and now i am throwing code 22 which is the vtec pressure valve. Yesterday i replaced the solenoid, rewired the ground wire and ran the vtec wire directly to my p28 ecu. Well, it went away for a while and i thought it was fixed. now when i start my car the CEL will be off but after driving a while say like 10 mins and going higher than 4k rpms, the CEL would come back and it would be the same code. I made sure that i have enough oil and everything. Help, this is driving me crazy!!!!!

there should be a screen on the solenoid. if it's dirty it'll cause this issue...
dents on the oilpan near the pickup will cause insuffecient flow/pressure as will a clogged pickup screen.
the screen on the solenoid is easier to get to... I'd certainly check that first...

The screen is attatched to the gasket that seals the solenoid to the head. The gasket and screen is one peice.
