what did you get sent for?

that is the first question that needs to be answered, after that it will be easier to tell you if you have to go in only for a visual inspection or an emissions inspection

i think all my brother did was go to the ref...they check everything from the bottome up.that means no illegal parts or anything without a carb sticker.....you have to pass the smoging crap...at the ref...and you have to idle at 750 +/- 50 RPM...any higher than that you wont passs....or lower too..then after you pass....you go to the judge and pay off the bills...its like 300 bucks...i think that was it...if any more info..ill let you know...i think you only get 2 or 3 tries to pass at the ref than after that you start paying to go there...suck!

to state ref = a smog
so u pay smog price

and when u goto court show em you passed and it should be a $10 fee or free(in my case for somereason they just dismissed iT)2 times

It's probably different for everyone due to different reasons. You still havent stated what you got the ref for.
Good luck.

whats the reason u think ur car wont pass smog? if u failed they wont smash your car. somebody is trying to scare u. they will jsut tell u what u need to fix and afgter u fix it u bring it back and smog it again.

No, they crush your car on the spot.... . Cali has really stepped it up and has sworn to do away with all "tuners".

I feel like i reply to one of these every other day. I got rolled by one too, which is why i got rid of my h22a cuz that **** wasnt gonna pass smog for nothin, dam cops will pull over anyone. He must have been in his civilain clothes and seen u race or speed, or do sumthin, and when he put on his uniform went lookin for u. I think thats what the cop who pulled me over did. Thats why im goin carb legal on my gsr.
