need any internal work for new manifold?
if i got a new throttle body (70 mm) and a skunk 2 1 stage intake manifold am i going to be putting a lot on my valves? and how much horse power/ torque gain will i get?
What do you have done to your car, that makes you consider getting an intake manifold and throttle body. IMO, those two things would be some of the last things to upgrade. The gains from those two on a stock engine will be insignificant.

Exhaust alone would not help in getting a different IM.

Again i ask, what do you have done to your motor? Give us a mod list.
If your still stock its a waste of money. Why get a better flowing manifold, when you have stock cams. Its not like your letting your car breathe better.
Edit - your valves will have no problem handling this.

nitrous...Mild OEM cams...Tranny Swap (doesnt really add HP but multiplies the torque you already have more effeciently)
If youre serious about going fast...invest in a b16 transmission or an ITR transmission..

what mods can i do to improve horsepower and torque.</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is where you have to decide what you want to do with your car, NA (Naturally Aspirated) or FI (Forced Induction). Also, do you plan on Auto-X, Road Race, or Drag.
Like lVlemphizStylez said a tranny is def a good idea. All B series are interchangalbe. But to make it easier stay with hydro if you have a hydro tranny now.
Also, cams with matching valvetrain is a good idea. And to help remove exhaust gases a good header and exhaust with no bottle necks would be good. Remember to tune after you do something if you really want to maximize your gains from your mods.
IMO, a good place to start and consider improving is your suspension, and tires. It will help you accelerate better, stop quicker, make your car look better (lowering the car), and obviously handle better.

ITR pulleys will work on your car, however they arent any different. Pulleys arent really worth the time/effort to install them. The "dual stage" intake manifold has nothing to do with vtec really, its a seperate thing all together....the car only has 1 stage of vtec (at 4400) and then the intake manifold opens the butterflys at 5950. Basically, a 70mm throttle body is WAY too big for your current setup. Its going to kill throttle response and you will not gain power from it. On top of that, almost all intake manifolds have a throttle body hole that is 64mm, thus going to 70mm is pointless anyway. The intake manifold is really only needed once you get some larger camshafts and header/exhaust on the car. I'm going to suggest that you hold off on mods for the time being until you can decide the route you want to go with the car and make a good list of mods and then go from there.

well what do u think i should do. i dont have money for a turbo and i want some more torque and power any suggestion will be nice. why would pulleys be a waste of time. i want a car that will move. i am going to get an exhaust system. header cat and cat back
if you want power and torque but dont have the money for a turbo, nitrous is your best bet. just dont go crazy with it or you'll blow the engine in no time. bolt on's arent going to give you very noticeable gains.
Honestly, just save your money and wait till you have enough. Do things once and do it right. No point in wasting time now and money and having to go back later and replacing that part or whatever.
Like i said before suspension is a good place to start.
