I'm not doing this myself but someone is planing on putting in a B16A1 (1st gen B16) into a 1992 Civic. I know the problems this will cause in terms of wiring but will the engine drop right into the car or do one or more of the mounts need to be modified? From what I have understood 92-2000 civic's would accept a B16 without need for modification to any mounts. Correct me if I'm wrong? Oh and if it does bolt in would the monuts on the B16 work or would I need some other mounts from another car.

I'm not trying. It's becuase someone I know bought a 1st gen to put into his 92+ civic and now is cursing and swearing that it don't fit and wiring is all messed up.
