What to offer for 98 gsr with 98k
i know you guys see plenty of these threads but i was wondering what some of you guys would pay for a 1998 red gsr with 98k. I'm not looking for a lowball you would offer someone but a fair price you would offer and the seller would be happy about. keep in mind the mark up for gsr's and what you see them go for.
kbb has it as $5500 good condition but everone knows they are going for more then that.
car has intake and completely stock
the bads:
hood needs painted
shocks need replaced
driver side door does not lock
needs basic maintainance...water pump/timing belt

i would start at $5600....you can always go up, but never down......start a little low and work it up if necessary just don't jump up too much....also try to gauge how much interest the guy has from other people in the car
dont be afraid to lowball.
when i bought my integra last night, i just said to the guy, "i dont want to lowball you, but would you take $xxxx?" and then we sort of went on from there. dropped the price $400 and it was already a steal.

A pic is worth a thousand words...hehe
with that said, things that determine value IMO are
1) # of owners
2) how stock it is
3) maintenance records?
4) color (TAN and green EEEKZZ!!)
5) CLEAN TITLE?
Just something to consider,
If everything lines up, I'd say with that low miles it's easily worth at least 7k. IN CALI

Good advice....and I tend to agree...somewhere between 6k and 7k.
