Questions about next DC
See if they will let you take it to a mechanic and/or body shop. Also get the vin and run a carfax. You know it is salvage, but from what?? It might of been stolen, had parts stripped and that is why they sold it as salvage. There might not be much wrong with it.
what he said^^^
Find out if it was in an accident or if it was a theft recovery...
If it was in an accident, I would stay away. If it was a theft recovery...i would take it in a heartbeat.
My first integra was a "salvage theft recovery"and the only parts stolen off it was the dashboard, center console, and misc. interior pieces, including the ignition. That car was clean and i wish i never sold it now that i think about it
Good Luck

thats cheap, even for a salvage title. around here that'd still sell for around $6k. like others said get it inspected, preferably by someone who can spot things like frame damage. even if it was previously wrecked, its possible to fix it to before-accident condition. it's also possible to do a half-assed job and make it a pile of ****.
Checked out the car today and quite frankly it's a piece of ****. Many visible weld spots all over engine bay and under the wheel wheels. Fast and the Furious emblems in place of the Acura ones and pinstripe across the vehicle. It's a shame that the interior was flawless though.
Thanks for the advice guys. I guess my search continues.

i bought my teg off of some shitty dealer out of central columbus in ohio. they told me in heavily accented english that it has never been in a wreck blah blah. ive sense found 3 places where its been hit/in a wreck. the moral of the story is never buy from VALLEYVIEW AUTO SALES
. paid 6k too, and ive since put about $800 and counting into repairs. at least gave me an excuse to put better parts into it.
