wheel studs question
Hi my name is Khoi and i drive a 2000 civic...I have just sold to my friend my 17 inch Konig Monsoons and they have the universal 4 bolt pattern...My friend has a 97 accord and i was wondering if the wheel locks that were on my car will bolt right up to the accord studs...the reason that i am asking is because this person brought it up to my attention..he said it won't fit...any input or experiences anybody??

Different bolt patterns: 4G & 5G Accords and 4G Preludes have a 4x114.3mm bolt pattern, Civics and Integras have a 4x100mm bolt pattern. Kind of like boys have a *****, girls have a vagina sort of thing.

ok...i know the bolt patters are different....im just asking if the civic lugs will bolt up to an accord's lugs....im not that stupid to ask that kind of question about bolt patterns..the civics are 4 lug short..and the accord is 4 lug long...

But they are dual drilled, so bolt pattern don't matter.
As for the wheel locks, yes they will work. Thread pitch on the studs is the same.

DunRiet,
Almost all wheels made by companies like Konig, Racing Hart, Axis, etc etc are dual drilled. Not all, but a good deal of them are. My Konig Verdicts, and my Axis Sevens were, but my Konig Blatants are not.

Oh, and just to prove my point about the wheel locks, I took the verdicts off my 94 Accord and put them on my g/f's 2001 Civic EX. That includes the wheel locks and lug nuts.

yeah, my car is an auto. I have not run it with the bottle yet. The one time I did run it, the nitrous was not working. It ran a 14.801/97mph. That was it's best time. It was a constant 14.8 all day.
Since then, I have added the VAFC, cam gears, fixed the nitrous, replaced the faulty fuel injectors, and that is about it. It should run a low 12 now. Just kidding.

thats awesome...i always knew the accord was lighter than the Lude..but i didnt' think it was that much lighter to allow you to break into the 14s especially with an automatic...what are the weight differences in the accord and the lude? The 97-up lude..i mean.

The 97 and up Prelude weighs 3,042lbs. the 94 Accord Sedan LX weighs 2,943 lbs. These figures are from http://www.nadaguides.com
My car was weighed at the track, and with me in it, weighed 3215. I weigh 215, so the car itself is exactly 3000lbs. This extra weight is from the motor, and the small speaker box I have, 1 sub.

if both cars weight around the same...how is 14s possible in an automatic...i've seen best runs of 15.5......

OK, that was cocky enough I think. LOL..
I can't explain it. One thing about my car though. The reprogrammed ECU allows me to rev to 8,500. While most of the auto Prelude are switching gears at 7400, I am still revving high in the rpms and pulling.
