One of my thoughts have been, should I go with a welded Differential, or LSD. What's the pros, and cons between the Welded Differential, and LSD. Anyone have any write ups on doing your own welding on the Stock Diff. What's a good aftermarket LSD?
aftermarket:
Quaife
Cusco
Kaaz
Spoon
also heard of but with bad reviews: Phantom Grip

If you take it apart & re torque everything. That's the only way that I have heard of good results w/ the OBX diff's. FWIW I'll be buying one soon for my budget build sohc turbo.
OP: a welded diff is no good if you plan on turning, or driving the car in anything other then a straight line. It's not worth it even for a cheap drag car IMO.
