So.....i just bought a 95 acura ls and now the car is leaking....from where i don't know......i park in a spot for a day and theres like a 3 inch puddle or spot .....it seems to be like its oil or power steering...unfortunately i have no pics but i was looking under the car and the whole "black plastic thing" was wet toward the driver's side of the car how do i take it off? and when i was looking at it some more it seemed as if the oil pan is leaking? how much should i expect to change the oil pan by myself....

No offense, but if you can't determine the source of a leak or what fluid is actually leaking, are you capable of changing a pan gasket?

 

Not always easy to determine where the leak is coming from. Especially when its a leak on a old motor and the bottom half of the motor is completely covered in sludge.

 

You could clean everything off and wait if it's leaking that bad you would be able to tell.
