Any of you guys use a cover for your R's? I've got a "cheepo" that was given to me but it doesn't fit well cause of the wing on the rear. i called the dealer & it's 190 bucks. Should I get that one or get one custom made? If so, buy who? Thanks!
I had a factory. Would have been nice if it had covered the hind end a little better. While it fit snug under the corners of the bumper, you could see an inch or two of rear showing.

Same here. Now that I have the Mugen wing on the car, it leaves about 1/2 of the rear bumper exposed - no big deal to me.
Another alternative would be: http://calcarcover.com/default.aspx they've got a bunch of great covers.

My experience is that custom aftermarket car covers are just as good as the factory ones. Make sure it's for the ITR and it should cover the bumper; if they have the same one for the ITR as for other Integra models, it probably won't cover all the way down the bumper, thanks to the you-know-what. (The cover I got for my GS-R is like that when I use it on the ITR.)
Another advantage of aftermarket covers is that you have a choice of different kinds of fabrics - some are better for outdoor use, some collapse into a smaller cover, some provide more cushioning if you use them in parking lots, etc. The vendor websites show the advantages of each fabric.
In addition to the California company that Mike mentioned, another one to check out is Big Sky Car Cover.

oem blue and grey are made of technalon or evolution fabric made by kimberly clarke and are not worth the money. i did my own tests (look in bio) with my oem cover and needless to say it lets water in. after 2 hours of a nice even pour down of rain last december, nothing hard at all. it was like i never had a cover on the car.
stick with a weathershield or a noah type fabric.or if you no expense sunbrella i had a weathershield on my harley and it does not let any water in at all and is breathable.

I'll be looking fairly soon. I was really in the market for one cause my R's in need of an engine build so it sits under the cover quite a bit. Really miss driving my R.

Custom car covers, like the OEM Honda one and the ones made by California Car Cover and Big Sky Car Cover, are designed for a specific car. They fit snugly and follow the contours of the body, including the side mirrors, rear wing, etc.
Department stores like Wal-Mart sell car covers made for a wide variety of vehicles. Basically, you don't get an Integra Type R cover; you get a cover for cars that are 13-15 feet long. There's a big problem with these: they don't fit snugly the way a custom cover does. And if you use them outside, that means that there's enough room underneath that they move around on the car's body. What's worse is that the wind can whip them around, and over time this can be bad for the paint. You're much better off with a custom cover, which doesn't have this problem.
I would rather use no cover at all than to use one of those "one size fits all" car covers. But hey, it's your car, your choice...

****, I guess you must have money to be wasting (not waisting) on a car cover that's going to damage your car's paint.
Don't kid yourself - a "one size fits all" car cover does NOT fit perfectly, and WILL allow the cover to be whipped around by wind. It's like covering your car with a bedsheet.
If it's for indoor use (in a garage), then it might not make any difference. Then again, a car cover is not as important if the car is in a garage...

Very nice cover. You can see how it's custom-made for the ITR, by the way the fabric fits perfectly around the contours of the side mirrors and the rear wing, with no slack or loose areas.
And $140 for a cover that normally sells for $199.99 is a good deal.
