94 integra smoke question

Default 94 integra smoke question

I have a 1994 GSR. my friend said it smokes white when i get on it but stops when i get off the gas. so i checked it out and when i smell by the exhaust it smells like pure gas/ running rich what would cause this problem. i took the plugs out and no oil on it!!!!! so im wondering what would cause this thanks in advance for your help

white smokes usually indicates that its burning coolant. Could be your head gasket.

is it cold out? lol ud be suprised how many people think they got a leaky head gasket when its just the temp change

I get the same thing on my 1991 Integra LS. It only happens when I get off night shift not on the drive there. The cold seems to produce alot of smoke

what color were the plugs, where they a chalky white. That means you are running to rich or your plugs are burning to hot. Iridium doesn't equal fast! How many miles are on it? Do you have a high flow fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Let us know.

i gota stock gsr havent upgraded any fuel or aanything alll i did was try a chipd ecu on it and went around the block changed the comp adn thing wouldnt stay on with out pressin gas an dmadd smoke came out the tailpipe with the strongest gas oder ever

you said you switched the ecu and drove it around the block, and did you switch the ecu back to stock and that is when this started happening? If you are still running a chipped ECU then the rest of your stock fuel system is trying to compensate for the new fuel charts.
