Default DC Shorty Header?

ok 1st off please dnt start busting on me b/c i have a shorty header....ok my question is i got the header today n my freinds were saying something like i need go out n buy an exhaust manifold gasket it this true or is their 1 already on their that i can use?

well if you replace your header its usually done just to make sure ther is no leaks, pair up the dc shorty with a high flow cat its sixty bucks aftr that get a nice exaust and u got yourself a nice flowing exaust.

ps im not sure if thats what its called but its the gasket that goes between ur engine and ur header.

Please correct me if im wrong.

The stock exhaust gasket between your header and the back of the block will work...unless it damaged or something..you definitely dont want leaks...
