Trying to find location of IAT sensor on 2006 Civic
I have my 2006 civic LX and I bought a resistor for adding 20HP. The resistor is supposed to be installed in the IAT sensor harness, but I, as well as my co-workers who work on cars all day, cannot find this. I emailed the person I purchased the resistor from and they said that it may be coupled with another sensor such as the MAF. Does anybody know if the 2006 civics have an IAT sensor and if so, where it is located? Any information at all would be extremely helpful. This is the product i have purchased, although it doesnt show a picture of the actual part.

hahaha...first of all you bought a load of crap. Second of all, it would be a lot easier to use your crap if you had an older Honda using a Speed Density system, so you can wire that to the IAT plugged in the intake pipe. New Civics use a Mass Air Flow system that not only measures the amount of airflow coming in, but also the temperature of it. I wouldn't wanna mess with anything there, but if you really need to know where it is, it's right by the air box in your intake. Have fun with you little toy
