cons on cold air intake?

Default cons on cold air intake?

i live in hawaii and it rains everday and my friends say dont get cai, cause if i hit a puddle i will ruin my motor..one friend already did...

just get a bypass valve. and unless you're hitting puddles 3 feet deep i wouldn't worry.

If you're that worried get a comptech ice box. Its pretty expensive but it works well and gives you peace of mind. The bypass valve is crap.

i work at a place were it gets really flooded..sometime its either you try going through it or walk in the rain to work..i hear you though but will tha bypass really help for small puddles

small puddles dont cause hydrolock. if you can submerge your bumper into a "small puddle", i wouldnt call it a puddle, i'd call that flooding...

word! i have a AEM CAI and bypass valve and have never had any problems
