FS 97 EK turbo!!!
i got it not that long ago, but im now wanting to turbo my 06 si. so im going to put up my 1997 honda civic cx with a turbo kit. it has some body problems. the person i got it from did not treat it all that great. the guy drove the tranny dry and blew the synchros. obviously didnt mind hitting things with the quarters either. the fender wells have been beaten out, but need to be bondoed and sanded. also has dents in the hatch itself. i was going to just make it all easier by putting on a carbon fiber hatch. the front end and doors are in great shape. rear bumper paint is spiderwebbed. i dont know how it happened. im guessing crappy paint. now onto the fun stuff....
stock d16 non vtec block
a/c has been removed, but can be installed with slim fans.
car came stock with no power windows or mirrors or locks
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY LIGHT CAR!!! PERFECT FOR SHOVING IN TONS OF POWER AND FLYING AWAY FROM THE COMPETETION!
turbo kit with greddy BOV and tial wastegate
stage 1 clutch and 8.5 lb flywheel
lowring springs
short shifter and suede shift boot
new tranny that shifts perfect in all gears at all rpms
Edelbrock Intake Manifold
new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets
greddy turbo timer
not sure if this will or wont go with it, but greddy profec e-01 boost controller (not installed yet)
vortec fmu
missing link
new bosch platinum 2 spark plugs
gsr cd player with code so it does work like a normal one
pyle speakers up front and jbl speakers in the rear
and im sure im missing some stuff.
when i got it there was no carpet, but i have since bought new used carpet for it that is in pretty good condition. right now there are steelies on it with good tread, but im also gonna throw isome 99-00 si wheels. they arent on the car because one needs to be repaired (bent inner lip).
i was also trying to find some inexpensive aem cam gear/fuel rail/fpr, walboro fuel pump, bigger injectors, hondata s200b, and some slicks. i took it to the track the way it sits just to see how it would do without pouring in more money at this point...
the best times i got are

1/4 14.642 14.645
those were the last 2 runs i did, and that was runnin on 7psi. so with the upgrades i was wanting and needing to do and if i had pushed up the boost up to 10 psi it would have been to the mid 13's.
im asking 4500 for it the way it sits. if u dont have the money but have a credit card with a sizeable limit, we can work something out. i want a turbo kit for the si, and u could buy it with ur credit card. the car does have a clean title btw. lemme know if anyone is interested. i will get some recent pics of it tomorrow. email me at fightingdondarko@aol.com. i am also paypal verified. so lmk
