Default should i install a ignition?

i got a cheap msd 6al with a blaster3 coil..should i install it ..i heard that my c.e.l will come on after a while.thanks for all tha advise

most say gains will be small to none. I saw a slight improvement in mileage. The main reason I am using it is for the rev limiter.

it wouldnt hurt to install it. probably get better combustion and smoother powerbands. the stock ignition is sufficient but the multiple spark capacitative discharge feature of a MSD unit works best for forced induction. install it since you already got it. your CEL wont come on unless u installed it wrong or the unit is defective.

If you install it properly, your car shouldn't throw any CEL codes.
I don't see any negative effects in installing the MSD box and coil.

In this configuration, add the MSD distributor cap for beter result...
