Me and a buddy both have R's were always trying to one up each other as u can imagine on a daily basis. Today he came out and told me he was gonna paint the interior, im not really into that look, unless your going all out with it and getting the dash remoulded from fiberglass and goin for the showcar look. But i just wanted to see what eveyone else thought?

Dude so good for it. I suggest getting some vinyl paint and go nuts. I also suggest sell your rims and get some blackies and put some civic hub caps. It will help with the value of your super duper typeR vtec vtech monster of a 1.8L machine.

Dude, don't encourage him, even in jest. He may be too DEE de DEE to catch the sarcasm. Just the thought of an R getting raped like that is too painful, even though it would increase the value of mine.

I dunno... if you own land that is declared to be "wetlands", you can't fill it in and pave it over to make a parking lot. If you own a site declared an historic landmark, you are prevented from altering it's appearance in many ways.

Maybe there needs to be a similar law protecting certain special cars?

 

A friend of mine removed all the carpeting to save weight and painted his floor black once.

Otherwise nothing on the inside needs to be painted, unless you really want to do it. In that case go for it. But I wouldn't recommend it.
