I have decided to see what kind of reaction i get by puttin this bone stock 98 civic 4dr up for people to check out.....here are the officials on it.

overall the car needs very little a d/s fender a front bumper and the rear pass/side window quarter glass are all it really needs.... i am in the process of replacing all of the above...besides that the car is in great condition. new exhaust, no rust, interior is in great shape with the exception of a very small hole on the pass. side seat (looks like a cigg. burn) kBB says in fair condition with its current mileage its worth $$3505 ...so just lookin for input, seeing if anyone is interested, if not the car will be kept and built myself...could be a good candidate for a front end sIR conversion....

2800 maybe but nothing more than that...only because i had a 98 ek four door as well and i would love to get another one...to bad im not buyin till after the winter is over

 

yeah thats not a bad offer at all bro....but considering by the time winter is over this car will probably look alot different i dont know if that price will still look that good to me.....bump for a decent offer though

 

It's a pretty clean car besides the body, but I agree with the guy above. I wouldn't go by the kbb alone, you should take into account what the demand is. Not everyone is dying for a 4dr civic with high miles and body work. Most decent mile EK hatches in good shape are going for 3k-4k

Sometimes you have to ask yourself, would you seriously buy it if you someone else was selling it to you as well? And don't forget that alot of ppl on this forum are cheapos...

And what do you think a dealer would offer you as a trade in?

 

a dealer would prob. give me 500-900 trade in....i worked at a Honda dealership so i have a pretty good idea of what i would get.......but im not lookin to trade it in so it doesnt matter much, and the body work is almost inconsequential to me a bumper fender etc...is nothing, i can get good deals on that stuff

 

Get a new fender and bumper and get them painted. You should be able to pull 3-3200 out of it.

well im gonna keep looking because if u still have it at the end of the summer and ur willing to sell it maybe ill buy it anyways i want another ek 4 door and ill prolly have about 6-7k to play with but i wanna use that money for some mods as well...idk...depends on what i get for my explorer...shoulda never sold the del sol
