I'm having trouble installing my JDM emblems for my 2006 RSX. I know many have said to take the front bumper out, but is there any other option to install the emblems for the front? Any DIY threads?

ur talking about the "TYPE S" emblem in the front ?? heres what i did... make sure the radiator isnt hot first... i took off the 5-10 black button clips by the grill/bumper area under the hood... then i just stretched it out without taking off the bumper... it would be better if u had 2 sets of hands.... one to hold the bumper so u can place the emblem with screwing it in with tap screws...

 

Oh opps, sorry, I meant the Red "H" emblem for the front.

just do the same thing for the red H emblem since all you have to do is unscrew the oem acura emblem off the grill and put the new one on

 

helps if you have a friend help if you dont have any friends have your parents help

 

its the same way with the red H....just take off the six black clips thingy, pull the grille back, and put the red H in and screw..i can do it by my self..i just use my knee to hold the red H in and screw it in..

 

do you have any pictures that show how to do it? I'm a noob and I don't want to mess up anything.

u wont mess anything up, attempt it first... but before u attempt it, look at the red H emblem and see where the screws are... then refer back to the stock A logo on ur grille, then it should be self explanatory from there... its too easy to need a DIY.... LOL

 

Why don't you just take off the front bumper???? Its so easy i don't know why you would stress about having someone there to help you... its only a couple of screws and some clips. You cant mess up anything so just do it. &spades; good luck..

 

Taking front bumper isnt hard like it sounds, when i read the DIY for installing the CAI i was like "Taking the bumper off no way" but its piece of cake man
