This place seems to say that you can use a 90-91 cluster in your car. It has directions too. Sweet huh?

Ryan sez
: If you swap the brackets and guage hood from the 90-91 - you can use the 90-91 cluster on a 88-89. You must swap the bracket it bolts to. (yup, said that twice, because people ignore that part and get stuck)
basically, The dash is the same.
And that's your answer.
