Problems!!
I have a 90 DX hatch with a mpfi swap, The problem is keeping it running
With a Pr4,PM6, and PG7 the car runs then dies right away..
with the PM5 ( DX ECU ) the car will run idle, i can even give it gas but once i let off it dies out, also smokes a White/greyish color
The motor is basicly NEW so thats outa the question..
with my MSD hooked up it ran perfect with the PR4, but it would bog it i tapped the gas to fast.
i took the msd off and the same happens, so i converted a known working 0bd-1 dizzy hooked the MSD back up same happens. now im with the converted obd-1 without the MSD and it wont stay running
A friend did the MPFI swap a few years back, ran perfect with a few different setups.. Just recently the car was sitting so i cliped the dizzy plugs to put them on my track car.. now that im bringing the car back out, i just followed the wires and the are correct.
Also changed the spark plugs Ran great for a few mins then it boged down, took the plugs out and there coated black, Same as the old plugs..
Almost forgot i was getting codes 3,4,7,9, and 10
i fixed them all but 10 is still on.
Any idea what the probelm is? im trying to get the car out be4 next Sat so i can bring it to the track

I am not an expert but I would think that if the spark plugs are black that it is running way too rich and so they are getting fouled up. Same thing happened to my sister's car. Wouldn't start, changed plugs, ran fine, then crapped out. Plugs went black in a week. Smoked a lot.
So maybe check the Fuel Pressure and the regulator or something?

well first things first. wat motor are u running and wat set are we lookin at? obd0 or converted to obd1 cuz u said u were runnin an obd1 dizzy? let us kno wat set up u got goin now.
