I have found out that the front bumper support on a da weighs 28 lbs. I have heard the 91-92 JDM version weighs only 3 lbs. Can someone confirm this? If this is true, where is the best place to buy one?
I was also thinking of removing it. And yes, I do understand the consequences of doing this when it comes to front end collisions. However, I was told that it doesn't keep the bumper from falling off, instead, it just acts as a support/safety mechanism. Is this true?

u'll need the front support to keep the bumper on unless u feel like zip tying it. get the jdm support i think u'll need the jdm front. worth the trouble for 25lbs? dont expect much here if you dont search on common knowledge techs btw
