Any problems/issues with Ridgelines?
Looking at getting a new truck. Because the Ridgeline is fairly new, just wondering if there have been any "issues" or warrenty issues with them.
I have had my Ridgeline for about 18 months now and outside of a recall to replace the clips on the interior door handles I have had no issues. I now have just over 18,000 miles on it.
I use mine for towing my 1984 CRX CSP Solo car and it pulls like a dream. Gas mileage towing 70-75 is in the 16-17mpg range. Around town I usually get 17-20 with my best just under 24.
Rides well and drives just like a car. I really can't tell when the trailer is behind me.
If you have the right expectations you won't be disappointed.

The towing mileage sounds great...wondering how heavy your pull is (stripped out CRXs can be pretty light).
I towed a 2000 lb load from Atlanta to SoCal and only averaged 13 MPG in my '04 MDX...I was under the impression that it was the same drivetrain as the Ridgline...must be different gearing.
Haven't heard of anything specifically wrong with Ridglines...I assume they have an online community forum specific to them...migh want to check there as well.
Cheers!

FYI:
if the dealership that you going through doesnt have any to test drive then test the pilot because its the same as the ridgeline. the only difference that i have found is the obvious the body. it has the same engine/trans, frame, and specs.

your right it is similar but there are differences. the Ridgeline can tow more. But the concept is the same.

My mom has an '06 Pilot and it doesn't drive anything like my Ridgeline IMO -- pretty much everything is different. I think it's common sense but you'd do well to test drive the same model you're looking to buy.
Also, the chassis is completely different.

/\ I agree even though similar the Ridge is much different. I personally don't like the feel of the Pilot, but I love the feel of the Ridgeline.... The suspension on the ridge is more heavy duty than the pilot.

"The towing mileage sounds great...wondering how heavy your pull is (stripped out CRXs can be pretty light)."
I am pulling an OLD Trailex aluminum double axle trailer (about 650#) and the car weighs about 1,650#. Add a couple hundred pounds for all the crap I carry in the car (jack, air tank, wheels, etc.) and all in I'm at about 2,500#.
My mileage is a result of my '****' preoccupation to get good gas mileage! I rarely use the cruise control and absolutely, positively try to keep the truck in 5th gear. I now know why big rigs go like hell down hill! Momemtum is your friend.
If you just drive the truck and let the transmission work and use cruise control you will be in and out of 3rd, 4th and 5th gear all the time trying to maintain speed. I kind of like 'driving' the thing. It keeps me entertained.
