Last week i was hooking my vtec controller back up to my ecu when my car Rpms suddleny droped to about 400. So i turned my car off and it hasnt been able to stat since.
It sounds like it wants to start but its just not cranking up.
I replaced the battery since it couldnt hold any juice.
and i got new spark plugs and a new ecu and it still wont crank up.
does anybody have any ideas what may have happen.
it dosnet sound like anything is bent in my motor. Gas is getting to it and air flows through the exhaust pipe when trying to crank it.
Any help would be appercaited.

is your vtec controler still hooked up? put everything back to 100% stock. And be 100% sure you have spark and fuel..

 

ima go try that.
Do i have to completley disscount the vtec controller cause i doont even need it anymore.
i had a h23 ecu but i just got a p13.

the way the vtec was hooked up the rpms did not work.

 

Brother had the same problem not to long ago. Turned out it was the Idle Air Control Valve. Think it was about $100 at Advanced Auto Parts.

yeah check your IACV. I had a problem with mine where it would run fine, then die and be hard to restart. So check your IACV, you could actually just clean it out.

What kind of sound is it making when you try to start it up?
