Block comparison
Ok I have an ls/vtec but I want to just convert to a motor that was meant for
a vtec. So im looking to buy one but im not sure what to get. I called around
acura and honda, got some prices. A 2000 civic si small block is about 3k
the del sol is about 2700. Then acura you got the b17 the gsr obd1 and 2
and the type r. I also found out that the type r block is the same amount
as the gsr block. Which made me kind of think, why would they be the same
price? Is there nothing really special about the type r block itself. Is it all in the
head and the tranny?
