Well I'm wondering how much a brand new b16a1 engine costs? If anyone could tell me.. Thanks.

it varies on condition but eric japan in dallas was selling one with hydro tranny no ecu for about 1950 execllent cond maybe 32000 miles

Nope. Just because forty other morons think a B16A1 exists isn't proof it does. Show me an engine block stamped B16A1 and I will tell you how much they cost.

OG Poster is going to have a tough time finding an old EDM importer considering Europe doesn't have the strict insurance laws like Japan which make the whole JDM engine swap craze so popular.

I know exactly what a B16A, B16A1, B16A2, B16A3, B16A4 and B16A6 is.

If you can find a 15 year old engine that only has 150bhp knock yourself out. I have never come across one because the JDM B16A's Gen 1's and Gen 2's are about 100 times more popular. B16A3's from DelSol's and B16A2's from DelSol's and Civic Si's are much easier to come by as well. Price range will be anywhere from $650 to $1000 for a long block. More usually for USDM's because salvage yards are wise to these now and they are not as common.

Keep hope alive though.
