Default Simple Turbo Question...

Hey guys, I tried this in the FI section but didn't get any answers. So I figured I would try my luck here..

I do not know what my specific setup will be yet, but that shouldn't be relevant to my question. I will be boosting my 2000 Civic Cx (d16y7), which currently has a/c that I would like to keep.

I was just curious if the turbo mani is the only thing that determines whether you can keep a/c or not.. Will there be any other parts that might get in the way that I should evaluate before buying? I wish I had a full parts list figured out, but as of now the only thing that is going in the setup for sure is a t25 gsx turbo with the internal wastegate (for the time being). I will start collecting parts in the near future and figured I would ask this question before I waste any money (want to do everything right the first time!). TIA for any input

Obviously the turbo layout is one and the size and design of your downpipe. I had to find a guy that can do some crazy stuff with exhaust to have my downpipe welded up in my EM1. Had to make a really sharp down turn to clear my compressor.

I figured the downpipe and turbo layout would have something to do with keeping the a/c. The only reason I'm asking is because I always see turbo manifolds advertised as "allowing you to keep your a/c"..Thanks for the input
