Lost Lug KEY!!! What to do???
My friend and I just traded wheels for weekend and he had OEM Honda wheels with the Honda lock lug set. Well we went to trade back Tuesday and guess what no key!!!....Worst part is my brake pads are worn down now. How the hell to I get theses off???
How did you trade without the key?
Take it to a dealer. Honda dealers have a complete set of the keys for their wheel locks. One of them will get them off.
If he wants to keep using the locks, and he sent in the registration form when he bought them, he can order a new key from McGard.

I wouldn't bother with all the DIY methods. Just go to a wheel and tire place, have them do it. They have the experiance and tools for this. It really shouldn't cost you all that much.
Cheers.

Errr... yeah, you could. But...
Wheel and tire places don't have the keys. What they will do is take a socket and hammer it onto the locking nut. They will eventually get the lock off, but it will basically ruin the lock in the process. Been there, done that.
I would still try a Honda dealer first. The locks are a whole lot easier to get off with the key than without it.
I think it's funny you swapped the wheels and didn't think to keep the key with the person who has the wheel locks on his car.
