Default cruise control in an R

Hello All

I have a question about putting cruise in an R.

I have a website that shows how to do it and what parts are needed.

My question is this; why do you have to change the gas pedal? what is different about a type R and gsr gas pedal?

If i keep the R, cruise will be going in and dont really want to change a gas pedal if i dont have to.

Thanks
Nick

crawl under your dash and look.

ITR gas pedal does not have the additional linkage for the cable from the CC actuator.
