Default Intercooler charge pipes..

Anyone here ever use Alumaloy aluminum brazing rods to fab their pipes? I don't have access to a welder capable of doing aluminum and paying a welder is prohibitive price wise.

It would work, absolutely. I used alumiloy on an engine block that was cracked. The driver mount was destroyed entire. I used some, retapped, and it has held perfectly for over a year. I would certainly hold on charge pipes. Alumiloy shows a tensile strength of over 30,000 psi, which is pretty fair.
