Tire size???? for autoXXX
hmm, I would think twice about a 215 on a 6.5. The 205 already "buldges" out some, the 215 will probobly give you allot of sidewall flex.
Before you determine the tirse size and drop on the car, you should see what kind of wheels you are going to use, you don't want to get a +48 15x6.5 with a 215 and slam it because it will rub.

right now i have 195 45 15.
will i be able to do 205 50 15?
thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you're lowered, you're in a class that allows changing wheel size. Go get some wider wheels.
I used 205/50-15 RT-615s on my stock blades (15x6.5 I think) and they fit fine, even dumped to the point of tucking tire. In fact, the wider tire made it nearly impossible to curb the wheel as a side bonus.
I'm currently using 205/40-16s on 16x7s for auto-x, to get a stiffer sidewall and a little acceleration boost from the smaller overall diameter. Now, if someone would make a 225/30-16, I'd really be happy.

The only tires available in 215/50-15 are really crappy ones (like the BFG g-Force Sport). You'll get much better autocross lap times with a stickier tire in 205/50-15, like the Falken Azenis RT-615. Also, the RT-615 runs larger (wider) than most other tires labeled as 205/50-15.
