If any one can help, what are the most common parts inside the distributor that are commonly changed or commonly go bad aside from the cap and rotor. This is for a '96 gsr, I am trying to help a friend narrow down why his car won't spark.
Thanks ALL.

Crank position sensor.....you'd get a check engine light for that though. Generally people just replace the entire distributor since they are fairly cheap for a new one. Could be a wiring problem as well, so if you have another friend w/ an integra, test their distributor before buying one.
umm.. i think on obd2 cars the crank sensor is by the crank... anyways the most common thing to go bad inside the dizzy (in my experience) is the ignitor. Ive had 3 of them go bad in the 5 integras ive owned. Definately check the ignitor.

I believe the 96+ models have 2 crank position sensors....one on the crank and one in the dizzy.
