D16A9 or ZC Engine model Eu questions
Hi , i'am french and i have some question about this engine : ( i only use my car for race , sorry for my english
)
-1 who have put crank shaft on this engine and what is the gain ? trade , price , use , stage etc because in france nobody use it or have some experience on it ...
-2 have you some idea of the gain give by obx intake manifold sold on ebay ?
-3 i have see the obx lsd faq , i can see some trooble on it , what elese i can choose for my car ...
I wish some response from you .

Don't mess with the OBX intake manifolds. I put one in my car and took it out before I got it running right. I had to dent one end to clear my integra brake master cylinder. Then I bent the attachment points for the fuel rail because they were so soft. Once I got it on the car, I found that it wouldn't hold vaccum. When I pulled it off, you could actually see how warped the flanges were. It has been sitting on my workbench ever since to remind me not to spend money on crap.
Now the OBX LSD is another story. I love mine and it has been working great on a 300hp D16 for about two years.
As for a crank... ARe you talking after market? Don't waste your money. If nothing else, get the crank knife edged and then balance the rotating assembly.
You can't put up an avatar while you're still a trial user.

i call crank shaft but it is cam shaft excuse me for my english , so what you propose to do on it
i have understand what you say about obx manifold , thanx i don't spend money on it .

it must be cool
in france we don't have many guys on turbo zc car or else it is difficult to teach or learn some experience ....
My config is a exhaust inox , header too , décata , ecu modified , and brakes wwith ferodo ds 2500 , durit goodrich , disk grp N , shoks Kyayaba agx with omni power coil over , 4 bar stab an i such for roll bar but it is expansive to chip in france 200 $ 1 bar rear or front ....
so i have a good chassis with my slick on tracks but i such for more power and fiability too
