why not? if the hood latch ever did fail i thought that would be the most effective area for back up

ehh you just messed that hood up. I would have put them above the headlights(like everyone else does)

No problem with being different...

I think most people put them over the head lights though so you can remove the T bar to free up some space up front but I don't know

never forget the hook pins, i did once took off and that was the last of the windsheild

(didnt have the hoodlatch just the pins)

well i dont plan on removing it and ive seen it on the same spot before and i just thought that would be a good area too. plus there was holes already that i just made bigger, so i know i didnt mess up on the measurements

i have hood pins. it was a quick fix and now i wish i didnt have holes drilled in my hood. (oh btw, it was just you that had a hard time. lol)

yeah whats up with the gap? My friends rex had hoodpins and random people where always switching his spark plug order...haha

i also am thinking about putting my hood pins in the same place, i think it dosnt take away from the CF look as much as over the headlights, but of course its just a matter of opinion

The keys for those lock are universal. And if your hood latch closes, why have hood pics ?

hood latches fail. I've seen it more than a few times. Cheap insurance isn't a bad thing.

I just wish they weren't so ugly, i'd actually put them on my car.
