take the valve cover off and inspect the belt...look for any cracks or tears..more than likely 1 week isn't going to make a difference but i believe the belt is supposed to be done ever 90K so you are well over due...
yeah, I have the same question too. the same thing is happening to my CRX. the belt sqeaks alot when I start/run the motor in very cold and moist conditions. maybe tighten it if you don't see any wear/tear on the belts.
Yea guys come on...Do as i said remove the valve cover turn the motor by hand with a socket on the crank pulley bolt and inspect the belt...if you see any signs of excessive wear then i highly sggest not taking the chance if it is really loose try tightening it with the tensionor...I think usually any noise comes from the bearings in the tensionor..normally the sqeaks come from the accesory belts, alt, ps, ac and not the timing belt...if it was over tighten I guess it could sqeak....
Yes if the Timing belt breaks you can say by to the vavles and most likely the whle motor

On an interference type engine I would rather have a timing belt that I know the exact miles on as well as exactly how old it is.
Timing belts are cheap....engines are expensive.
