I am not sure if this is the right place to post.. sorry i am a noob.. anyways... last night when i was riding in irvine (alone because i was going home).. I stopped at a light and aout to make a right turn, but noticed there was a car going the wrong way towards the car on my left. (i was shocked and staired like a dumbass) the car on my left honked at him and make a quick u turn and avoided the crash and i guess that guy going the wrong way noticed and make a left turn... towards me.. so I went to first gear and went forward to avoid him.. but he ended up hitting the back of my bike and made me spin out... my 2006 cbr 1000... is all scratched up... breaks are messed up and aliement... AND the guy didn't even stop, he kept going and left me on the ground...i cant move my right leg and my arm hurts like hell... sorry... just wanted to tell you guys a story and let my anger out.. yeah still need to go to hospital to get checked out..

anyone know where there is a good repair shop that would fix the damages?

have you been to the hospital? take care of yourself first. may wanna have the insurance co. look at the bike, if it's not straight it could be a lost cause repairing it. do u have collision/full coverage?

The car on the left of you honked so the guy going the wrong way made a left towards you? You sat there watching this whole incident play out which you ended up getting hit?

 

You should spend your money on a grade school education instead of a brand new liter bike.

I just stood there cause i was in shock and when the car came towards me... i freaked and went forward... if i didn't go forward he would have hit me straight on. not just the back of my bike. hope that made sense? but your right.. i should i left without looking at that stupid car. i thot they were going to hit for sure

sounds like - bike in right lane, car in left lane. Oncoming car headed down infront of car in left lane. car in left lane pulls u turn to avoid oncoming car. on coming car swerves to avoid car doing u-turn and head right towards bike in right lane. bike in right lane moves forward and oncoming car smack tail end instead of running over bike completely.

That would be awesome if you volunteered to do the MS Paint Diagram of the accident. Complete with a Legend for us to use.

Not only will that provide us a clear and concise description of what happened, it'll provide us with a mental picture and a break from the harsh reality and perhaps we can all laugh at it and learn from it.

yeah i did the report... first taking my information down like it was my fault... then telling me where the car went and how it hit me... i was like damn "look at the tire marks on the floor!" but in a nice way.. anyways reported it and the other car drove off.. anyways cops took pics of the tire marks so hopefully im good.. sigh my second bike too... loved the 4 days i had with it.. gotta get it repaird. anyone know where i can get it done at?
